I am several months into returning to my natural gray and the changing contrast is making some dependable clothes look unfamiliar near my face. I want to observe the transition patiently while continuing to use most of what I own. Black still works in small amounts, but a few warm beige and brown tops now seem disconnected from the cooler hair around my temples. It seems wasteful to rebuild the wardrobe before the color settles, especially because the dyed lengths will remain for quite a while. I am referring to this personal color analysis to separate gradual observations from an impulse to buy new clothes. Should I choose a tiny set of comparison fabrics first, and should I then wait until more natural hair has grown before changing larger pieces? I can alter contrast with collars, glasses, or earrings. Please share a gradual approach that avoids chasing every intermediate stage.
